Our client is a development and IT managed services company with offices across the UK. They are looking for a Channel Marketing Executive to join them in their North Yorkshire offices.

 

You must have your own transport to work for this company due to their location.

 

You will initially be supporting the company’s channel account managers with the aim of independently managing smaller resellers.

 

This is a new role offering the right candidate the opportunity to demonstrate and develop their skills within a small friendly, busy marketing/sales team.

 

This includes implementing marketing communications and relationship building with channel partner companies.

 

We need someone with a high level of organisational skills and ability to produce results within strict and sometimes tight timeframes.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Channel support: supporting the sales teams and channel partners in providing communication materials to maximise the effectiveness of ongoing sales and marketing activities. Internal liaison with other teams on behalf of sales and partners.

 

Channel planning and implementation: involvement with sales and marketing plans with responsibility for driving agreed processes and strategies for channel recruitment and retention through the sales team.

 

Channel recruitment: working with the sales team to identify and recruit new channel partners. Reseller targeting and profiling (qualified lists). Arrangement of qualified reseller appointments with the sales team when required.     

 

Campaign Development: ability to drive sales engagements and marketing programs with channel partners and generate incremental sales through effective channel communications.

 

Internal and external communication: overseeing the smooth running of day-to-day tasks for channel partners and liaising with the various management, customers, partners, presales and sales teams.

 

Branding and budget management: participation in the departmental branding, reporting and budgetary processes and procedures.

  • Design and roll out of sales campaigns through partners
  • Reporting and use of CRM system
  • Administration of partner programmes including new partner accreditation and start up.

Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 depending on skills
