Our client is a direct response and relationship marketing agency with an impressive client list.
They are looking for 2 x Account Managers to look after a new client they have secured.
They are providing a unique opportunity for a marketing professional to take on an Account Manager role within at least one of their prestigious accounts.
The successful candidate will have the autonomy to manage their own projects and will be managing and developing an Account Executive. These accounts are of great importance to the agency and will offer the opportunity to grow and develop a good profile in the agency.
Whilst DM is the main focus of the services provided, these positions are fully integrated roles ranging across experiential, press, digital and DM.
Who we are looking for?
We are looking for a strong Account Manager who has proven agency experience.
They will need to show evidence of successful integrated project management. Preferably they would have strong DM skills and knowledge of or campaign integration personalisation would be of an advantage.
Given the managerial role they will have, they would preferably have had some experience of people management and would be able to demonstrate how their investment into an Account Executive has been successful. They will be someone who has a good track record of working collaboratively both within the realms of the agency and with the client.
This person will be continually striving to help the agency meet its governing objective, to be the best in class for strategic and creative ideas that achieve clients’ business objectives, delivered by faultless execution.
The role
Role and responsibilities:
The position will be to work across all of the specified accounts and the individual will be responsible for:
- Managing and monitoring the smooth running of specific projects through all stages of development, implementation and campaign evaluation
- Controlling creative outputs, schedules, cost estimates and financial control of production processes. Improve cost effectiveness and profitability
- Accepting responsibility for internal status meetings and full client status meetings
- Ensuring appropriate sign off of all required project documents i.e. Purchase orders/copy
- Ensuring understanding of the relevant client contract and relevant legal/regulatory guidelines
- Working within a team to ensure the above by prioritising, delegating and managing each of the projects within the account team
Client Service
- Having a clear understanding of the client’s operational requirements and to deliver briefs to agreed plans
- Continuously providing updated information regarding status of work always managing the clients expectations
- Controlling information gathered about the client through accurate contact reporting, clear project documentation on costs, copy and artwork instructions
- Ensuring client and agency is kept up to date with any developments on the account via attendance at relevant meetings, regular reviews
- Raising, developing and exploiting opportunities for business development with existing and potential clients
Salary:
Salary will depend on the skills but will be between £24,000 - £30,000.
