Our client is a rapidly expanding financial software company based in Kingston-upon-Thames. They are looking for a skilled Direct Marketing / e-Marketing Executive with experience of the full marketing mix to become the driving for B2B email and postal campaigns within their existing marketing team.

Specific e-Marketing duties:

• Content copywriting, editing and repurposing depending on target audience and marketing media (online, email or print)
• Targeting the content and data of each direct marketing campaign to specific clients groups depending on their skill set, position within client companies and location
• Analysing campaign performance, suggesting and implementing improvements
• Using existing email marketing software to implement and analyse campaigns
• Keeping up to speed with current e-Marketing trends and implementing these within the e-Marketing strategy
• Using social media such as Twitter and LinkedIn to promote services and products to prospective clients
• Analysing social media campaigns and making changes where required
• Quarterly online magazine production including sourcing, writing and repurposing content and coordinating external suppliers / web developers

Whilst this role will mainly focus on e-Marketing / social media campaign development, implementation and performance analysis but you will also be involved in the following:

• Event coordination and planning
• Budgetary responsibility
• 2 new proposition launches scheduled for 2010 and 2011
• Marketing the upcoming software refresh to clients

Any experience of marketing financial software or other products/services to the financial sector would be perfect, but not essential.

The successful candidate will be a hard working, self motivated person who does not require micro-management.

You will be happy working within an informal environment and could potentially lead / mentor the junior marketing staff by sharing your existing knowledge with them.
