This role will be leading the efforts by bringing all that is cutting edge to data storage and access. Their data storage needs are significant, requiring instant access.
You will be responsible for 99.999% uptime and for distributed back-up and hardware inventory and purchase. A strong negotiator and forward thinker is needed as they scale their business both internationally and with new products and responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full responsibility for technology operations
- Technology systems development and project management
- Maximise strategic service relationships through optimising costs of services such as data centres, hardware and infrastructure architecture
- Be able to plan and scale the business’ infrastructure
- Have a formidable technology background and a passion for innovation
- Define and adjust IT Standards and Technologies
- Optimise costs of services, hardware and infrastructure
- Be responsible for business continuity planning, information security and emergency procedures.

Required skills:
- Demonstrable background in Technology Operations and Cloud Technology
- Knowledge of a wide range of both Microsoft and Open source technologies

- Experience with huge data sets and huge data storage.
- Well organised and able to prioritise workload.
This role is based in central London.
The salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 + benefits.
