My client is currently looking to recruit 2 (1 in South East and 1 in North East) PRINCE2 Practitioner Implementation Project Managers with 3+ years project management experience in ICT implementation within either BSF and/or Government Academy Program/One School Pathfinder (new academy builds). Candidates must have full life cycle experience within BSF and/or Government Academy Program/One School Pathfinder (new academy builds).

My client’s Project Management team manage a large variety of projects. They range from £100,000 in value up to £5 million. The project manager effectively acts as the customer's champion, striving to get them the solution they want, when they want it. The project manager is responsible for delivering the project within budget and maximising customer satisfaction. 

JOB PURPOSE - To project manage major or complex projects for our clients customers

DECISION MAKING - Without reference to others; Actions to resolve service delivery problems; Cost estimates; Management of risks and issues / actions to mitigate risks; With reference to manager / colleague; Authorisation of major changes to contracts through change control processes; Exception reporting to project board.

IMPACT & INFLUENCE - Management of interface with demanding/ aggressive building contractors, customer(s) or partner(s); Cross departmental project; Matrix management of employees; Management of external sub-contractors/ third parties.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - 3 + years project management experience in ICT implementation within a BSF or Academy new build programme; PRINCE2 and risk management methodologies (qualified PRINCE 2 practitioner).

KEY RELATIONSHIPS - External Customers to agree project requirements, monitor progress and agree completion; 3rd party contractor account managers; Internal facing project managers within the organisation, to discuss the development progress; Departmental managers to secure resource for implementation; Field, Manufacturing & Development Engineers/ Project Coordinators/ Credit controllers/ internal sales consultants, to deliver work packages.
