Salary: around £60,000 - £65,000 basic with £120,000 - £130,000 OTE against a very achievable sales target. There is also a very attractive and comprehensive benefits package.

Our client is a well established company that provides enterprise level software solutions to ecommerce and retail companies. They are looking for a skilled New Business Sales Executive to manage the full sales life-cycle of big ticket, solution led software and professional services sales to major clients across the UK.

 

Reporting to the VP Sales, the New Business Sales Executive will be tasked with developing and driving forward business in terms of acquiring new accounts and/or delivering new solutions (product and services)..

 

With significant amounts of empowerment and as part of a commercial team, the Sales Executive will be involved in all aspects of the sales campaign; from designing the initial demand generation activity, all the way through to commercial negotiations and final closure.

 

Therefore, the successful candidate would have sold a combination of software and professional services and would need to demonstrate experience of selling complex business-led solutions using great communication skills to articulate the business benefits of the company’s proposition.

 

This role will involve constant integration with other internal teams, so you will not be able to work from home. The offices are based in Ealing, West London.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Building and reporting accurately a pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Quarterly accountability for new business sales (software and services)
  • Driving excellent customer satisfaction

Previous experience must include:

  • Experience of selling complex e-business software solutions
  • Strong experience of selling into the retail sector
  • Must have a vendor background, not reseller
  • Deal sizes of £250k+
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding financial commitments
