Our client is an integrated marketing communications agency whose core disciplines are advertising, sales promotion, direct marketing, experiential and online. They are looking for a Senior Agency Account Executive to join their team.
They are based 2 mins from Tottenham Court Road tube and work with some of the best brands in the UK.

Because each account group works across a wide variety and scope of projects there is invaluable opportunity to develop a wide range of account handling skills but also gain invaluable experience in planning and from a creative perspective.
Working closely with a Senior Account Manager and the creative team you will be responsible for the day to day running of client projects. You will own and manage project budgets, status reports, timing plans and reporting for clients.
You will be managing the creative and production processes and helping to prepare for and attending client meetings. You will also be involved in idea generation, research and presentation development.
Role and responsibilities:
- General account handling / housekeeping activities include: generation of contact reports following a client meeting; follow up on action points from meetings; manage weekly status reports; develop cost estimates in conjunction with AM; develop timing plans; manage hard copy folders and server filing system
- Assist AM in development of creative briefs, assist in briefing of creative teams, involvement in critique of creative concepts and managing artwork process between studio, account team and Client
- Trafficking creative through studio and liaising with the repro house on press campaigns
- Day to day Client liaison and general project management support
- Briefing suppliers on print & production briefs, receiving and comparing supplier quotes
- Briefing and liaising with staffing agencies on various events
- Raising purchase orders, invoices and job bag management using Rebus and Paprika financial systems (specific software experience not required)
- Involvement in brainstorms and idea generation
- Assistance to team on new business pitches
Skill set required:
The successful candidate will have previous experience working as an Account Executive in an agency environment and will have had exposure to a broad range of marketing channels including digital.
- Keen interest in digital and online media
- Buttoned down on administrative processes – attention to detail is key
- Top-notch proof reading skills
- Strong, clear and confident verbal and written communication skills are vital – whether this is with direct clients, within the agency or with suppliers / 3rd parties
- Ability to adapt communication/tone/language depending on the client
- Ability to think on your feet and make well informed decisions with a good degree of autonomy / self sufficiency
- Strong print production knowledge, ability to do budget costings, time plans, status reports and a knowledge of online / web based marketing would be beneficial
- Experience of running a press campaign beneficial
- Solid financial skills – take control of PO’s and assist in Client invoicing, some understanding of Clients budgets would be beneficial
Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 (may go slightly higher depending on skills) with 20 days of holiday per year plus an additional day for every year of service and private health insurance
