Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as a Payroll Administrator for a successful Accountancy Practice based in Sutton, Surrey?

Main Duties of the Role

  • Processing 180 company payrolls per month, 15 weekly payrolls and 6 bi-weekly payrolls on Iris Payroll Bureau software
  • Ensuring all statutory payments are included
  • Setting up and running auto enrolment pension schemes
  • Telephone contact with clients and answering queries

Your Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years’ payroll experience within a Practice or Bureau environment
  • Up to date knowledge of all payroll legislation including SSP, SMP, Tax, NI, RTI auto enrolment
  • Ability to manage workload and complete jobs within deadlines
  • Iris Payroll software experience is a bonus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable attention to detail.
  • Competence using MS Office applications

Salary

  • £25,000-£30,000 per annum
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (25 days after 1 years’ service)
  • Office hours Mon-Thurs 8.30-5.45 & Fri 8.30-1.00pm
