Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as a 2nd Line Helpdesk Engineer to be based in Wigan?

Main Duties of the Role

  • Log, triage and manage incoming support requests, via phone, email and alerts
  • Monitoring of alerts, raise & escalate tickets as required
  • Keep tickets up to date and create technical documentation
  • Incident escalation as required

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a similar role (ideally within an MSP environment)
  • Confident attitude with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Windows Server 2008-2019 support and administration experience
  • VMWare & Hyper-V
  • Experience of Office 365, Exchange & Azure AD
  • Good understanding of Networking
  • Experience in an ITIL environment

Salary

  • £27,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience
