My client are a Managed Service Provider based in Devon. They are currently looking for and IT Support Team Leader  to work remotely and lead the IT Support team in providing support to their external customers.

 

As a hands-on IT Support Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for managing the Help Desk service by providing both operational and technical (hands-on 2nd line) support along with direct management responsibilities for a team of three.

 

The role will be very varied and busy, with your time being split between both BAU and project-based tasks.

 

The role will be home based with occasional travel to Devon for meetings or team building activities.

 

The IT Support Team Leader needs to demonstrate previous experience in a Team Leader role with direct management / leadership responsibilities in addition to:

 

  • Having 2nd line technical support experience
  • Experience with Windows Server 2008 – 2016, Windows 10 and Office 365
  • Exchange experience
  • Experience of virtualisation – HyperV / Veeam
  • Microsoft desirable.

 

This is a very varied role where you’ll remain close to technology whilst having line management responsibilities.

 

The salary for this role is £30,000.
