🔥 The Role: Global Head of Platforms (DevOps)
This is a career-defining, global technology leadership role. You’ll own platform strategy, drive infrastructure evolution, and lead a world-class Platform Engineering organisation across multiple regions. You’ll be the force behind a secure, resilient, and ultra high-throughput distributed platform that supports enterprise customers around the world.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead, grow, and structure a multi-region Platform Engineering organisation.
- Architect and scale a distributed scanning & data-processing platform powering thousands of global workloads.
- Drive DevOps maturity — improving deployment speed, change failure rates, and time-to-recovery across all services.
- Own cloud and infrastructure strategy across AWS/Azure with a focus on security, performance, cost, and global regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Product, Security, and Engineering to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable capabilities.
- Define and evolve platform architecture across networking, observability, storage, workflow orchestration, and multi/hybrid-cloud.
- Champion engineering best practice: IaC, automated testing, secure-by-default, documentation excellence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, reliability, and operational excellence.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years building and leading distributed engineering teams across multiple regions.
- Experience leading leaders — not just individual contributors.
- Proven success scaling high-throughput distributed systems in production.
- Strong background in early-stage B2B SaaS (ideally cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or offensive security tools).
- Deep technical expertise across:
- Cloud:Â AWS, Azure
- IaC:Â Terraform, Ansible
- Platforms:Â Kubernetes (EKS), ECS, Docker, Lambda, Airflow
- Observability:Â EFK, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger/OpenTelemetry
- Persistence:Â MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka
- Pipelines:Â GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild
- Runtimes:Â Python, Node.js, Golang
- Strong networking fundamentals, especially OSI layer 3+ and distributed performance optimisation.
- Experience operating global/multi-region cloud infrastructure, navigating cost, risk, and data sovereignty.
- Comfort working with senior business stakeholders in fast-scaling environments.
- Track record developing high-performing, high-ownership engineering teams.
