As a Test Lead, your role will be ensuring the quality and reliability of our client’s software products. You’ll be tasked with leading a team of skilled testers, co-ordinating test efforts and developing strategies to be able to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the testing processes. You will need to be excited about delivering top-quality software and thrive in an environment that values collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Heading up a team of testers to guarantee the delivery of high-end software products.
• Cooperate with all-levels of stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.
• Recognise and examine test results to identify trends and room for improvement.
• Generate test plans, test cases and strategies based upon project requirements.
• Keep up to date on industry practices and emerging software testing trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing priorities and strategies.
• Guarantee that testing activities abide by relevant regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.
• Identify, report and document defects, working alongside developers to solve issues.
• Oversee the completion of test cases and certify thorough test coverage.
• Consistently evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Skilled in creating extensive test strategies and plans tailored to the needs of each individual project.
• A comprehensive knowledge of the types of testing and testing methodologies.
• Keen attention to detail to show comprehensive test coverage and accurate reporting of defects and issues; ability to review test cases, documentation and requirements with precision.
• Understanding of automation test tools and frameworks.
• A customer-centric mindset, focused on delivering top end products that exceed client expectations.
• Experienced with creating test plans and cases to fit project requirements.
• Understanding of test team management; inspiring and motivating team members to encourage high-quality deliverables.
• High-end communication skills to efficiently collaborate with client stakeholders and the clients leadership team.
• Familiarity of adapting to changing requirements, timelines and priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to show flexibility to adjust testing strategies and approaches as needed.
• Additional fintech knowledge on Mortgages /savings and regulatory reporting would be desired.
