In January, my business turned 12 years old, that seems like a really long time!
To be honest, at times, it’s felt like a really long time, but at others, months and sometimes years have just flown by.
Statistics say, 660,000 new companies are registered in the UK every year. That’s equal to 70 being formed every hour. That’s the same as every man, woman and child in Glasgow starting a business every 12 months!
It’s a less talked-about fact that 60% of those new businesses will go-under within three years, and 20% will close their doors within just 12 months.
Stats like this are scary, but also make me feel very proud of Xact Placements and what we have achieved in the last 12 years. We have gone through numerous changes over that period and the business looks nothing like what I thought it would look like the we started, but we are different in a good way. We are proud of our customer focus and our commitment to relationship development over bottom line numbers and hey, we’re still alive and kicking so we must be doing something right!
